    csa .223 firing pin

    hello,
    i bought a used csa in .223 and it had a broken firing pin. i was just wondering if you could point me in the direction of a dealer that could supply me with one.

    Try wolverine supplies. If not go to your local gunsmith.

    Thats why i put this in north sylvia's forum.... Wolverine doesnt have one and is no longer affiliated with csa as far as i know... Hopefully north sylvia will be able to chime in here.

    This seems to be a common problem with these rifles so the part should be available from the supplier

    I broke mine while wolverine was still the importer. Had one sent out and tried to install, ended up it was a firing pin meant for a 7.62 rifle, as it did not fit. Wolverine offered to try to track down a legit 5.56 firing pin but I just spent $25 to have a local smith machine it to fit. approx. 1300 rds later and no more issues. Just to give you the heads up that a 5.56 specific firing pin may be difficult to find...

    yes......wolverine sent me a 7.62 one that i turned down to work, it's just that i'd like to have a proper one.....
