I second Big red truck! I have never heard of these non-res CZ 858s with chrome lined barrels..

Thanks for the info, ok so we have established that the Chromed 858's used to be available but in very limited quantities. I'm assuming the lucky people who do have one will probably not easily part with it. So back to my original point, what about engaging CZ to make more 858's with a chromed Non-Restricted Barrel? For $200 dollars cheaper then the VZ58's who wouldn't buy one?

    Over to you North Sylvia.

I'd easily pay the extra $200 for a CSA over what's basically the equivalent of a WASR or some other low end U.S. market AK, in the 858.

North Sylva, can you please update us with any new info on importing the CSA VZ. 58 or CZ 858-2 7.69X39 in NR chrome? Are you guys still having talks, is it a done deal? Earliest ETA? The more details, the better. Thanks.

I'd take one with a chrome lined bore. I was planning on getting a cz858 anyway. But would wait for chrome lining.

Iv been looking to buy an 858 for a couple weeks, but Talk of a chrome lined version has me waiting.

Be nice to know if I should bother to wait or not.
