Just got an email from Interammo that they again have 9mm Makarovs (Baikal 442) in stock. I ended up buying one off the EE and love it. If you've been on the fence... DO IT!

I got the notification as well. Just like you, I ended up finding one on the EE that had a threaded barrel otherwise I'd be ordering one. Haven't shot mine yet though. I'm sure a lot of people are looking for the 9mm Makarov's. I always see WTB ads for them.
Hey, is there any chance you will be getting the 10 round makarov magazines in stock, or makarov parts kits?
Thanks
Not likely, at least in the near future. Getting the magazines out of Russia is next to impossible. The 8 rounds magazines we have in stock came from Europe, they were manufactured in East Germany back in 80th.
Ah, that's too bad.
Thanks for the info though
I got one Mak's from interammo a while ago and still very happy with it.
I am shooting Norinco 9mm mak in it and always have a good fun for a few bucks.
Here's one more vote for the mak! I consider it a must-own pistol
As far as I'm concerned, I prefer silent vice to ostentatious virtue.

First handgun ever owned and still very happy with it, could use a fancy grip though
this website offers nice grips: ht tp://www.marschalgrips.com/?content=Makarov-models
I have a East German Makarov. It was my first pistol. Paid $149.00 in 1986. It came in a small wooden box with xtra mag /holster and lanyard. It also included all the paperwork from East Germany including armourers inspection info where it was pulled from storage test fired then put back in storage until it was sold off as surplus. Purchased it through Century Arms out of Montreal. It is very well made.
