Wow, looks good. About how much does these stocks weight? Big fan of pistol grip stocks, but find they usually weight quite a bit more.

What would it "take" to drop a regular 700 action in 308 into that chassis. Out of a gun that didn't have a removable magazine, such as the 700 VTR?

As mentioned, installation of the barrelled action into the new chassis is very easy. the chassis comes with detailed instructions.

Basically dis-mount the action from the existing stock, drop into the chassis and tighten action bolts. No modifications are required to factory-spec Rem 700 actions in order to fit properly.

Looking at the photos & AI brochure it appears the AX chassis is ambidextrous, can you confirm this?

Also, does the AX use the same magazines as the AICS?

    Forend Mounts & Sling Fittings

I assume you need to order one of the forend mounts along with the chassis, in the AI brochure they indicate the forend can have either flush cups or traditional AI loops but I can't quite distinguish these on the Wolverine website, could you clarify how this is specified / ordered?

The grip on the stock is ambedextrous.

Magazines are specific to each chassis system (AX vs. AICS) and are not interchangeable.

Our web page shows all of our instock models. The chassis are available with either AI sling fittings or flush cup mounts. Part numbers including "AI" indicates an AI sling fitting. Part numbers including "FC" indicates a Flush Cup model.

If you have any other questions, don't be afraid to contact our sales department. Any one of the guys will be able to provide you with the most up to date information regarding pricing, availability and options. Thanks!

And the magazine that comes with the system will just work, no need to do anything to the bolt or anything? Very interesting indeed.
