ARES Armor EFFIN-A Tunable Compensator for 5.56mm and 7.62mm

We will start to carry the Ares Armor Adjustable Compensator.

Retail in Canada will be $115 and it will be available for 5.56mm and 7.62mm and can be preorder here. ETA will be 2 weeks

    http://www.armtac.com/product/ares-armor-effin-556-bk/

    From manufacturer
"This is the first Compensator that can be both stacked and tuned to
custom fit each rifle and the its gas dispersal. The EFFIN-A features
4 rows and 7 columns and 4 rows of ports that can be either opened or
closed off with of set screws. Threading is cut short eliminate the
possibility of a screw entering the chamber. This also bottoms out the
screw making sure you have a tight fit and withstand the pressure of
the gas forcing it out. You can also stack the Compensator allowing
    for other options."

    Extremly interesting,....

so the 5.56 is 1/2"x28 tpi, assuming for AR rifles.
    what's the 7.62?
-for AR RH threading, and or vz/cz/csa, LH threading?
    -what threading options?

will you be getting 1/2"x28 tpi for 9mm carbines?
    how about .578x28 for.45acp?

    :D,,:D

    thanks

    Yep,

    5.56mm is for 1/2" x 28 for AR15

    7.62mm is for 5/8"-24 for AR10

7.62mm for AK47 is 14x1LH (still in production)

Looks cool. Video was good, but i try not to buy the first version of anything. I'll let someone else be the guinea pig for this one and see what happens.

Interesting indeed, I will give it a go. I like when Canadian companies take the time and trouble to bring in new stuff that makes us go "oooooooooh!"

Yep it will work with 6.8 as long as it is the same thread. As for the 762mm you can preorder it, we are thinking that it will take around 1 month before we will get the 7.62mm

The first shipment that we will be receiving in 2 weeks are all sold, the next shipment will be in a month or so and that will include the 762mm model.

    Thanks
