Any update on the Ares Armor Effin-A Compensator 5.56 MKII?

    Can they be pre-ordered?

In case anyone else is looking for one of these...I called Armtac today and they aren't expecting the MKII until early next year.

I tried heating it up and also tried contacting the manufacturer to see if they could help. They never returned my call or email. I have stripped 5 allen keys so far.

Looks like I'm going to have to drill them out. It pisses me off when companies are so busy that they can't even bother answering emails. I will not be buying ARES again!

I also tried to contact ARES, I wanted to find out where in Canada, Montana or online I could buy their products. After a few emails and calls they told me to "ask in online forums". I guess they don't know who sells their stuff...

I know that this doesn't help you much now, but I have read suggestions that you should use an anti-seize compound on the set screws.

If Armtac does get them in, I would still buy one.

    Good luck.

I emailed to see when you will have them in stock again, as I would like to put one on my Tavor.

Also, do you have plans on stocking the MkII version.

    Thanks

I emailed them a week ago. Chris said that he had let the import paperwork lapse, and is working on getting it back together but doesn't have any idea when they will land. If we could get enough interest going we could put in an order together and have them imported through Irunguns, but we would need at least 15 people together to make it so that the landed cost is $150 canadian each.

    I want 1
    TV-PP wants one
    Uklek wants one

So if your in that is 4.
