Only limits for mags are on handguns and center fire semi-autos.
To start, we are going for the volume leading SA 4.40" actions.
As time permits, we will move to the LA cause that one may actually be easier to cover ALL the gens out there.
Lastly 4.25" SA. This shouldn't be too hard to get going.
No firm ETA. Just work in progress.

So hypothetically... With the AIA enfield rifles, for example, the 7.62x39 bolt action that takes ak-47 mags... What if 30 rd mags were to be stamped outside the country as made for it and imported. Then just like lar-10 mags pistol mags, used in other rifles...
I've been looking for a couple of 10 rounders for my Stevens SA centre feed ever sonce I converted it to take DBM with a stock and bottom metal I bought from Jerry. It would be great to get them the normal cap mags here above the 59th.

Here we go again! That gun was DESIGNED TO USE AK MAGS so 5 round limit only. If it was designed with a propriatary mag that held more than 5 rounds that would be legal, if that mag happened to fit a AK or SKS-D it would be legal to use in them as it was designed for a bolt action rifle.
The LAR15 mags were designed for a pistol and are dimensionally different from a AR mag, hence legal to use as they only happen to fit a AR15. Hold a LAR mag up to a AR mag and you will see a small kickout on the bottom of the LAR mag where the AR mag has a smooth spot, ie not simply a shortened AR mag but a new design. Better now or still confused?
Take it to the general forum guys... This thread is for interest in a specific product!!
Anyone knows if the "new gen Savage" discussed here is the same mag as the Savage Axis ? Maybe Jerry can compare the 2 and let us know.

The only diff is the floorplates on the mag.
But that is of little consequence. The new product we are working allows you to use AI/Ruger GS mags. There is little point in continuing with the Savage mag as Savage has little interest in making higher cap mags.
And tooling up to make a clone mag would be prohibitive.
