This is what the gunsmith working on my rifle told me:

Your rifle has .021" over minimum headspace due to the action lugs. About the only good way to repair this is to buy a locking block from Wolfgang at Wolverine and tig weld it then grind it down to headspace. I confirmed the idea with Wolfgang that this was about the only thing to do in this case besides scrap the action. He sold me one for $12 so I got him to ship it.
    Hopefully all goes well.
I didn't buy the rifle new, but as barreled receiver. Lucky for me I don't have much money invested.
The wild still lingered in him and the wolf in him merely slept

I do not get this. 0.021 is 0.53 mm over minimum which is still within spec.
There is minimum and maximum HS. If it is in between it is ideal. If it is over maximum that is bad in my book.

Must of meant over maximum. Blows cartridges in two, not good.
