Wow. How did we get from reading about an experience one person had, from their point of view, to a kindergarden spelling bee? It doesn't matter what you think happened, and it doesn't even matter what DID happen. What matters is what the customer preceived happened. There was a communication break down somewhere, and the customer suffered for it. Period. Should he suffer for it? Probably; he didn't read the labels. TWICE. Should we jump all over him, or other responses, for spelling? Hell no. Shooting is the sport here, not academia.

I don't even think we should jump all over him for his view of the experience. Unless you are "Sue" the "manager", you have exactly dick to say about what happened.

Reading this has made me a little leary of ever posting any experiences I have, because people who have nothing to do with any part of it, and just have nothing better to do, will chastise me for having an opinion.

Well, I have to say I really like my favorite store. I called him the other day, when I realized that I would be at matches for the next 3 weeks and wouldn't be able to get in to pick up my new restricted before the ATT ran out. He asked when I could get there, I said Sunday (Today), a day that they are not even open. He met me at the store so I could get my firearm. Now that is service not to be seen likely from many other stores. Truly above and beyond.

Actually by the action of putting the experience on an internet forum the OP has invited comment and opinion, in fact that is the only reason to put it here. This isn't kindergarten and it is perfectly acceptable to express disagreement in this forum without having teacher call your mommy to complain that you don't play well with others.

What is wrong is the childish nature of some of the comments. It is good and fine to disagree but it is wrong to do so in a childish disrespectful manner. Some people really do need teacher to call mommy, apparently.

you probably own a .22 take it as a lesson learned and just shoot the s**t. (if you don't own a .22 this is probably a good reason to buy one)

last time I bought ammo (walmart) they wouldn't even touch the ammo, they oppened the cabinet and said "take what you need, there are no returns i'm not touching it so you're at fault if its wrong" (they checked my PAL before letting me reach in)

I suppose it was when the OP got a little defensive and started putting down people's spelling! Read the thread and see who made the first "spelling" comment.

No need to be "leery" about posting here, just don't be surprised if you get called out for having a log in your eye while pointing out the spinter in someone else's

Like all communities, there are a good bunch of people and then there are people with too much time on their hands. They get bored and need to express it in some form or other. Whether it helps people or not, it relieves their boredom.
Feel free to post your opinions, stories and photos. There will always be people that appreciate what you have to say and to the others, welllllll, like all families, there are relatives you ignore or never talk to at all.

    Welcome to the community.
