For the people who acquired the JRA M1's, from Wanstalls. What trigger guard is on your M1? Mine had the milled guard, I noticed two other examples that had the stamped guards. Just curious, as the milled guard is accurate pertaining to the year for manufacture on mine. Thanks

Just recieved my Winchester M1 Garand yesterday, It has the correct milled WRA trigger guard, new Criterion barrel and retains the correct lead annealed reciever. Nice job Gary! Thanks,

Reloaders just want their ammo to go bang, Handloaders want all their rounds through the same hole.

Cant wait for more of these to come in
    There's Mil-spec, and then there's Gunnutz-spec.
One is stringent, the other contains nuts.

On the A4 warranty JRA wrote this:

tighten down the rear trigger housing after each shooting session. The trigger housing may loosen after shooting and must be tighened to avoid cracking the stock. This is inherent in the design of a 1903/A3 and a crack stock will be not covered by warranty.

Apparently its the rear guard screw whi is too short. Id like to buy a longer one so I can fix the problem. Any place where I can buy that screw ?
