    My understanding is that Auto Ordnance does not use any surplus parts, all new manufacture.

    Some folks on the milsurp forum have reported great success in adding USGI parts to these carbines. Whenther that is for LCF or because it was needed is anybody's guess.

    I have not held an AO carbine in person yet and have no opinion on how they are.
    Keeping it real on the range since before there was a CGN.
