If its is non restricted and for the m14 I am in
We have not decided what we want to do yet. With so many people "running guns" into the country from the USA we are thinking it is not worth 6 figures and 18 months of development (9 months at the RCMP FRT lab you know !!!) that we probably would not sell allot of anyway because people would say its too much money......so we are still deciding.
Yup.....I do. I don't like it when Americans seem to take our NAFTA agreement and have it only go "one way" when it suits them. This happens with guns, wood, oil and lots of other products......You folks have no idea what an ordeal it is to get OUR GUN PARTS and GUNS into the USA. Its a real pain in the ass........
I am not surprised to hear that.
The Yanks can be very protectionist.
How will the type 97 imports (maybe?) affect your bullpup decision?
The type 97 wont because its chinese junk just like the m14 and the AR. Yeah yeah...I know.....works great blah blah blah......well come the range and use a real AR or real springfield M1 and tell me your chinese junk is great.
So......its more about the fact that there is really good stuff coming available at good prices and EASILY into Canada. So....for the 500 or so rifles we would sell....it would just not be worth 18 months of time when we could be doing other things.........like making zillions of parts that are easily sold all day long.
