    Presumably the kit will go on and off the rifle some number of times over it's life. I'd think the box would be nice to have around to keep the loose pieces in a safe place while it's off the rifle. Also it's a spot to chuck the stock bolt and carrier while in .22 mode.

    Yes, I thought of that before I posted and still feel the same way. It's not a deal breaker for me though.

    I'm just waiting on a accuracy report. Also how many rounds do you guts figure before the barrel insert wears out?

    I would buy one but I already have a .22Lr, I would still consider buying a kit though..... I wonder if it could be modified to work with .22 mag?

    that's exactly what I'm using it for, less chance of losing anything plus can store extra cleaning supplies and reloading equipment and accessories.
