Nouvel arrivage ! New arrival ! - boulets ares bullets

ARES BULLETS have FINALLY ARRIVED in Canada.

CRAFM is proud to announce that ARES Colored coated bullets have arrived in Canada, these bullets are used by some of the top shooters all over Europe.

ARES - The Slovakian bullet-maker, has come up with a new colored bullet coating for cast lead bullets. This coating provides a surface barrier, so that the lead does not contact the rifling in the barrel. In addition, no bullet lube is required and the colored coating reduces friction. Please take into consideration that ARES Colored Bullets have a higher velocity than copper plated/FMJ bullets. If you are used to shooting copper plated/FMJ bullets, we strongly suggest reloading ARES Colored Bullets with approx. 5% less powder and adjust the final quantity of powder on basis of your own velocities. ARES Colored bullets keep the barrel clean & are ready for reloading. (it is not necessary to grease the Colored Bullets).

ARES colored bullets are suitable for velocities up to 1650 ft/sec.

If you plan to use the same loads as a FMJ or a plated bullet, there is strongly possibility that your velocity will increase between 40 to 80 ft / sec (or potentially more).

We have imported only 3 colors in our first order: Black, Red & Blue -- we are planning to have more colors available for our next upcoming shipments.

Pricing for what we presently have available in all 3 colors are as follows:

BULLETS REG. PRICE FOR 1000 SPEC. PRICE FOR 500

    9mm - 125gr $119.99 / 1000 $55.50 / 500

    9mm - 147gr $129.99 / 1000 $60.50 / 500

    40S&W - 180gr $143.99 / 1000 $68.50 / 500

    45ACP - 230gr $167.99 / 1000 $78.00 / 500

We will be at most outdoor major matches in Eastern Canada as well as the 2014 IPSC Nationals in BC.

We are doing a promotion... Usually, we sell bullets per 1000 and we showed you the regular price. Now, we sell them per 500 at a special price. You are free to buy 1000 at the special price (500 x 2).

Good to see you guys carry this bullet. Maybe you can try getting a 135 g bullet for 9mm if this is available.

how thick is the coating? Does the rifling cut thru it? and are they totally covered like a TMJ or is the lead exposed at the rear like an FMJ?
