Question SVT-40 Bayonets A humble request.

Hey John, I was wondering if in your travels, seeing you are a guy that knows how to get things, if you could bring in some SVT-40 Bayonets. I have a feeling someone somewhere has to be sitting on a buttload of these. I know reality is different then what I wish would happen however if you got a bunch from what I have seen of the supply in Canada you would not have a problem selling out of them even if you priced them at the going rate. I know I would buy at least one for sure (I know that is not a good basis for a volume order but I am sure that I am not alone here).

I found mine on e-bay. Looks like it was dug up out of a field and I still had to pay $80 for mine.

SVT-40 bayonets are scarce becouse most of them were melted down .

Pre-orders are horrible for everyone involved. They never go smooth. We will not be doing a pre-order to bankroll this project.

There is no volume of them. They're all gone. The dealers and importers are a hundred light years in front of you. If they thought they could find some and bring them in, they would have already done so. Its always possible that there may be a crate or two hiding and forgotten in some secluded warehouse or abandoned mine, but don't bank on it. The only ones you see for sale are from people who are broke and/or need cash. There is no known supply of them. Depending on condition, you will pay between one and two hundred bucks for an SVT-40 bayonet, possibly more in the future.

Oh I understand all that is written here, however if there is a constant in life it is we have not seen all that Mother Russia has to offer. You never know when a long forgotten warehouse is "found" with a ton of "Rare" items in it. I quite understand how expensive and hard it is to find a decent specimen. I also know that Marstar and the other importers have access to people and items that we as private individuals could not dream of. So you never know and it never hurts to ask all that can be said is No, nothing ventured nothing gained.
