I hope this goes well for you Ryan. pretty excited to see the product.
It is better to live one day as a lion, and die than to live one thousand years as a lamb.
Read this whole thread and still confused:
1) Who manufactures the lower receiver and how will they be branded?
2) Who manufactures the barrels? Twist? Polygonal or traditional rifling?
3) 5.56, 223 or 223 Wylde?
4) MADE (not assembled) in Canada?
5) Chrome lined or nitro-carburized barrels? Bolt carriers?
Keeping it real on the range since before there was a CGN.
I will sell my left foot for a 7.5" barrel SFRC AR. I'm saving my soul and right foot for an MP5.
Foxtrot Foxtrot Sierra!
Definitely following this one! Great news Ryan! Can't wait to see your new product, and congrats! :D
Not to totally de-rail this thread, but I agree with YOU, quoting YOU directly:
If more dealers and manufactures start making this stuff, the better for us all.
Personally, IMO, I think $1000 to $1600 for an upper and $1600 to $2400 for complete is fine Canadian pricing for quality AR (not a Norc, that is Cheap). I do think that the pricing of $2300 for an upper (Questar, sponsor link) and $1860 for an upper (again, sponsor link) is when, IMO, the line of "expensive" is crossed.
Here's hoping that SFRC's up coming products are in my "pricing for a quality AR" range, if so I will buy.
