New AR Flash Hider ready for testing!!! Now in stock!!!

We finally got our prototypes done for our new flash hider. We have about 10 prototypes we will be sending out to a few people who are going to put them through their paces and see how effective they are compared to comparative products (ie. AAC and Smith)

I am sure someone will notice the machining snafus. The indexer that was used forced the use of a tool that was a bit too long and ended up causing a lot of flex. The process will be adjusted for the production run for sure. It was just easier to get the prototypes off this way and kept the cost down.

These are now available in our E-STORE with a picture of the finished product!!! WWW.ALLENGUNWORKS.COM/STORE

Very interested.

Will it be compared to the vortex? Is that the smith that was referenced. Assuming it performs similarly to the vortex are there plans to release it in .30 cal and for the 858 thread pattern?

Thanks

Shawn

good news :) , that would go well on the end of one or two of my chopped m14's should you make them in .30 cal down the road

Very nicely designed and machined piece.
How about muzzle brakes?
I've never found muzzle flash to be a problem, but the enhanced control from a good brake is of real benefit.

Muzzle brake is next on the agenda. Working on a few designs and hope to be testing by next month.

A way to work in flash suppression into your linear comp...ideal for sbr.

Funny you ask. I JUST confirmed that production will start tomorrow. Should be about a week or two to get them done and sent out for nitriding.

Retail will be in the $60 range.

We have had some really good initial tests on them and will be night testing before release.

Excellent :D
