this is an interesting piece. I've never considered buying a 1911 as i already have a .45 and the Nighthawk Recon is stupid expensive; but this changes things. This is a cool idea. If you could get this in with enough mags to satisfy the community and spare parts in case things wear out, that would be great. I hate buying a gun that has no support options.
One question i do have: Will the .38 spl spring be included with the package? Or is that a separate option?
Lastly, i assume no, but does this take standard 1911 accessories such as grips?

Standard 357mag or 357 Auto mag?
I'm guessing standard mag since I'm unaware of a 38 Auto special.
I wonder how dirty the chamber would get from firing short 38's in the long 357 chamber.
How about some 10 rd magazines? Now we can do some talking ............

The grip is slightly longer front to back but pretty standard width wise...

It doesnt like .38s from the stuff i read, not unless you change out the recoil spring.
