Respecting the position of AI and ATRS I have been patiently waiting for the same. I do have a Savage 12FV in a AICS chassis. Since AI continues to ignore you/us, I think if somebody could find me a machine shop in Edmonton willing to make copies, I would help the community by selling them at cost until they decide to pay attention.
I don't think you could make and sell copies without altering the design enough to not infringe on design copyrights.

I'm not a patent lawyer, but i'm sure enough could be done to warrant a variance. I did a quick patent search and found they only had one US patent:
Keyhole shaped rail
Regardless, I am not interested in setting up a commercial operation and I am personally not afraid of the legalities.
This is not the forum to be discussing copying someone else's design, especially considering we are the Canadian importers for AI. AI is a british based firm, the design is not American so would not be in the US patents. However, patents can be applied world wide.

Not sure if this thread has died, but was wondering if there was any word on this? I believe there is a link buried somewhere in the first two pages of the precision rifle forum of a company that has AICS' for Howa's and Tikka's (I think it's even mentioned earlier in this thread). Just wanted to ping you guys to see if there was anything new?
One could only speculate as to the reasons why they aren't in full production yet, was just curious was also wondering failing any new info if you guys get in KRG stuff as well, I hear they are developing a chassis for a Savage and with the steam they are picking up it looks like they might be quicker to get theirs to production than AI.
