Nothing special if youre not a collector.
The main question is, is it possible to export them from France.

I was waiting for the punch line: Never fired, only dropped once.

    Nice looking pistols for sure.

Interesting they would be unused MAC's, since it was the first run of these pistols...

A whole crate looks really good; I wonder what the CFC would say....

It is interesting to study the French website and be reminded of their category system. As I remember, 1st is military calibers; requires a permit. 4th is arms for defence (mainly non-military caliber handguns); also requires a permit. 5th is hunting weapons, but that means non-military caliber and ten shot mags for semi-auto; no permit, declare to police; 7th .22 rim fires; no permit; 8th black powder; no permit.

Military rifles are routinely converted to .222 Rem, 7mm-08, .243 or other calibers to avoid 1er categorie. Back in 1990's you could buy a Famas (.222, ten round mag) by mail, with a copy of your French national identity card. Full auto was available under 1er categorie. Single shot .22 pistols of over 11" in length were also 7ieme; think Contender or Reck, Gaucher. You could even buy a silenced, bolt action Gaucher without permit. I believe that these .22 pistols are now 4 ieme and you need to present a hunting licence or club membership to buy 5 ieme.

Ah crap, wish I hadn't seen this thread! These things are ugly but not hideous. Definite retro look. I must have one! If someone can bring these in and sell them for a 'surplus' cost I'd be in. Obviously not TT 33 cheap! but the cheaper the better!!!
