I'm not sure if your trying to make a fool out of me or not but you fail.
Maybe its free shipping from another warehouse to their store. Take for example Cabelas, that will ship an item free from one store to another and you pick it up at the other store.
Wouldn't be fun if we gave you all the details, left more than enough clues for you to figure it out.
Of course for goodness sakes someone spell it all out for the lazy folks.

Pretty sure the "Select store pickup at checkout" is to bypass their software from auto charging shipping based on your address. This way software doesn't need to be changed (darn programmers are expensive).
