Easily the most frustrating part of operating a 10/22 rifle is the undersized, fidgety bolt release that comes with the rifle from the factory! This allows you to rack the bolt to release the hold open lock, like on many centerfire semi-automatic rifles including the ones the 10/22 was meant to emulate.
