only one Cabelas the other isn't open yet and if i am not mistaking the old one will close when the new one opens and wholesale is out of stock on most things its seems or they will offer to "Bring it in form Edmonton" There is no small gun shop in Winnipeg
Heights Archery has started to carry a selection of long guns, pretty basic stuff but they get the odd interesting piece in. There's a new place out Transcona way as well selling out of the gun range. Heard they have some milsurps and odds and ends. We do need a good place for handguns and accessories though.
Jobrook website looks good too. Couldn't believe my eyes when I clicked the link for the umpteenth time and a website appeared! Looking forward to buying something off it.
Just bought a S&W M&P 9mm range kit from them. Picking it up on Saturday. Have always had good treatment from Jo Brooks. 2nd firearm from them in 2 months. There is another small shop in Brandon called the Woodjoynt that sells Dillon and I think some firearms too. Anyway Jo Brooks is my go to place even tho I'm closer to Wpg.
X2 on your comment Dave. It's a 2 hour drive but jobrook is still worth it!! Cabelas has SOME stuff but it's pretty hit or miss in the reloading department and I don't buy new guns so they really don't have much to offer. As for wholesale, I've been there like 20 times and only once have they had what I was looking for, if I call them to ask if they have stock 99% of the time they are out.
