In normal civilized places -- that's anywhere outside of Cowtown -- scoring a brick or two of CCI LR is no big deal (or at least it shouldn't be). Edmontonians casually stroll down to Cabelas and stare at about a million dollars worth of 22LR in stock and on the floor. In these parts, however, it's wait, wait, wait -- and then jump on it with both feet when you finally see some good stuff.
Rumour has it that the sneaky buggers at TSE secretly unloaded a generous supply of CCI 22LR two or three days ago and it's now sitting front and centre on their ammo shelves. Notables are 40gr Mini Mags, Troy Landry "Choot 'Em" hollow point packs, AR Tactical packs ($24.99 vs CanAm's $26.99) and assorted other goodies.
And, by gawd, they even had four crates of Norinco 5.56 spam can crates still sitting on the floor.
Tip: Shop early before the upcoming Easter Sale rush.
