A lot of people have been throwing them out for years, not realizing the Czech stuff will evaporate, and other countries didn't issue 7.62x39 on stripper clips. Remember, the vz-58 can be loaded with stripper clips, mag still on the rifle, the ak-47 cannot. Why would other nations issue ammo on clips, if their rifles couldn't use them.

I bought a large number of the a few years ago for next to nothing... Been giving them away ever since.. Like to keep 1 crate packed in the 10 clips and 1 packed in the home made 5 clips beyond that its overkill
I've found all mine on the ground at various shooting spots on crown land. They work just fine in any condition (once you get the small rocks out).
Just drop 'em n CLR for a few minutes, wash off & dry & then oil. That'll get them as good as new.
We need an SKS stripper clip restoration thread with various pictures of neglected clips being reblued or even arma-coated!
I think we should start a charitable foundation to supply stripper clips to the less fortunate.
