Chinese Mosin - Type 53

With all the Chinese Type 56 SKS carbines you bring in, any chance of finding some of the Chinese Type 53 Mosin Nagant carbines to join them?

I think so. I know condition is poor to average to ok but average and above would be just fine with me.

I'd be in for one for sure. Are the type 53 chrome lined barrels. That would be a major selling point for a lot of people

Early we're not chromed. Some later type 53s had chrome.

Given the condition of most, they would be either restoration projects or left as is for a collection piece simply to have one of the Chinese variants. I just want a decent example for the collection.

I would love this! I would be down for 2 of them one for me and another for my very proud, Chinese grandfather. As beat up as the Type 53 carbines seem to be, they have (I think) awesome collect-ability.

I don't know how many of these things the Chinese actually have. I've always been under the impression that the Chinese shot the crap out of them, and gave the ones they didn't shoot the crap out of to people who proceeded to shoot the crap out of them.

I'd love to see some, especially at a competitive price, but I am not holding my breath.

If we could have them for about the same (130 +- 30$ wouldnt be nice)as our friends down south then I to would be interested in one or two.
