exactly . US parts are not going to be easily acquired, other sources are being located as the dealers now have to look towards Europe and else where. china stuff is gonna be seen more often at higher then normal prices..recently the demand on quality has improved. however, USA may need a "boycott", as it seems they are not cooperating freely with Canadian neighbors ...not providing us with with proper grips,,

I would very much like to see either a 16" or 18" SPR upper with Lothar Walther Match Barrel (Medium Contour) in 1-8 twist, done in LW50.

It will be ever better if it can come in as an upper with no handguard.

Basicly, a Larue Stealth upper without buying Larue........

The most accurate AR i own is a Colt SP1 with a 1/12 twist , it shoots 55gr ammo like no other , by far the best twist for light bullets under 60 grains .. 1/7 twist is only really needed if your shooting bullets over 62gr beyond 300m .. In my opinion 1/7 is pointless in a AR with a carbine length barrel , who really shoots 70 grain bullets beyond 300m with their 16 or 11 inch ARs ?? In a 18 or 20 inch barrel go with a 1/7 twist, anything shorter go with a 1/9 or 1/8..

We will be carrying these rifles. Might be a couple of months to get them. Phil.

1:7 can shoot 55gr, but allows one the option of going heavier... however, lighter is a different story.

I'd be very interested in the M5 Solid:
    http://www.schmeisser-germany.de/en/...15m5solid.html

    16.75" barrel, monolithic handguard.

1:9 twist will stabilise 50-70gr bullets, which is fine for me.

If the barrel were quick-detachable, and if a 300 Blackout barrel were available, that would really be the icing on the cake.

Apparently, Schmeisser also make piston versions. It would be interesting to see if these were available as well.

Most sub-55 grain bullets will work acceptably in a 1:7 barrel. I personally have had good results testing this with 40 grain bullets.
