The NP22 is a copy of the SIG P226, just for your information.

I liked the ones I handled. I've had the chance to handle both the NP22 and SIG at the same time, and while the SIG may have these new generation features, the NP22 was just fine.

I would not hesitate to buy one, if I were you.

I have one of the newer Np22's (Sig 226 clone) and have around 500 rounds through it now. I bought it mainly as a cheaper alternative to my 40 cal. So far it has been great, no malfunctions and shoots accurately. The double action trigger pull is pretty heavy, but the single action is quite light and crisp. The finish is actually nicer than I was expecting, for the price I certainly can't complain. I put real Sig grips on it. One guy at the range thought it was a real Sig 226 when I let him handle it haha, and he was no amateur either.
Only issue I had with it was the front sight was loose, but it was an easy fix. It's a good buy in my books for a budget shooter.
