Is it possible to bring in the Barrett M95?

I think the M95 was classed as a variant of the model 90. Wayy back a long time ago I emailed the RCMP about that perticular one and they said it was a variant but that's been a long time ago.

Mr. Mamba, search the RCMP site for the lists of Prohibited Firearms. You will help yourself by adding Barrett to the search. If it is on the list, no way. If not, find a dealer and let us know how it works out.
Jean Charest after coming a distant second to Pierre Poilievre. “You deserve a clean slate and the opportunity to unite the membership. ... Only Liberals benefit from a divided (Conservative Party).” Will the malcontents listen?

Seeing as the M95 is an improved version of the M90, its 99.9999999999% for sure prohibited.

That's what I figured but it's been so long since I even bothered to look into it, wasn't sure if I was right about that one

Well, the M95 is not explicitly mentioned on the prohibited list, but, the M90 is and as was pointed out the "variants or modified versions thereof" clause takes care of the M95. Forgot about the M90. Goes way back to the 1990s. Too bad.

The 95 is a single shot 50 BMG with a mag. The 98 Bravo is a mag fed 338 lapua rifle

It happens to the best of us. I just usually blame it on the beer the night before.

As for the 95, there's no reason it shouldn't be allowed given The 5 round mag fed Steyr HS50A1 is being sold in Canada. Guess the real question is would the US let it out of the states for civilian sales.
