I've heard more crap about NEA than Norinco. But, since I refuse to support the Chinese economy, I bought a Windham Weaponry. From P&D. Not sure how this piston would increase it's reliability by so much. I've ran almost 4000 rounds through the VEX with no issues.

I echo Tenguns writings. Looks interesting, but no problems already with a PofD Windham

I'm in the same boat and would like to know as well.

I'd love to get one, but I already have a free-floated handguard so I wouldn't need another handguard but I would need the modified op-rod. I'm definitely interested in the product though.

You can buy three different lengths. I would really like to know about this because it may determine what AR I get.

no they are not a DD, that being said i replaced the gas block from ATRS and a new carbine length gas tube and it fit like a glove. I have noticed a few things about the NORC's. the upper and lower receiver are true mil spec. the front handguard mount is not perfectly round and requires replacement to fit after-market drop in hand-guards. Hence the removal of the front gas block because good luck getting that off... i have a full machine shop and i still ended up just cutting it off. they must use a big hammer to set those taper pins in. the buffer tube assembly is commercial spec. not mil spec, why? who knows. Unlike the M14's they did a good job at cutting the threads for the flash hider.
