One, what jurisdiction does Mission have over Sylvestor Rd.? Does it not lie within the Fraser Valley Regional District out side of Mission municiple boundries?

Either way if a hearing takes place it will take level headed people with a common sense approach who have practical/manageable ideas or solutions to be at the meeting. People showing up just to spout off will not work.

Safety for all FSR and recreational area users will most likey be the biggest concern by council. Bear in mind that it is possible that the members of council/panel may know nothing about firearms and their use. if so they may need to be educated in a polite manner.

Garbage and waste will most likely be their second concern and how to keep it out of their.

It may be best if possible to select a spokes person for the main local interst groups to speak collectively.

Offer to take them out and look at the situation and work together to find a manageable solution.

    Options,
Designated places to shoot up there may be one.
Sportsman patrol system working with LEO agencies may be another.

It is sad that it has to come to this due to the irresponsibilties and disregard for safety by some.

Good luck to those who use the area.

I'm tired of this punish everyone due to a few bad apples. This nonsense has to stop.

Do we ban all cars on highways because some speed, text, crash, litter? By the same logic shouldn't cars be banned if there are a few bad apples ruining it?

Enforce the current laws. That's it.

No kidding, last time I checked it was already illegal to dump garbage, what would it cost to send a co up there once a week. I'm sure their presence alone would make a difference. Handing out a some littering fines might wake someone the #### up.Make an example out of the slobs destroying the place.

where does Mission's land rights end and turn into crown land up Sylvester? once you hit crown, they can't do anything and I would have thought most of that was crown already.

I don’t have time to figure it out right now but the map can be found here on the second page… it essentially shows where Mission ends and crown land starts…

It’s pretty clear the no shooting zones will be greatly extended, but if into the main shooting areas I don’t know…
