Just found out today that there is one 1-H in 375 but it will miss this load and be a few weeks behind. Still; good news that they are rolling in finally.

Can someone explain to me their fascination with Ruger #1's?

Not being a smart ass, I have no experience with these rifles. What would be so thrilling about a single shot Ruger 1A in .222rem?

For Sale: 22 Hornet brass and dies.
    PM me please

Go into a gunshop and fondle one. They are not for everyone, but they are a very high quality firearm for a very fair price. Consider the price of other Farquharson rifles. They usually start at $5000 and go waaaay higher. There is just something about them, they are slim, carry very well and just feel quality. My .300 H&H will never be replaced in the safe.

Clay, a .222 sure is tempting. May have to drop into the shop for a look-see

They are a joy to look at and delightful to carry as well as a pleasure to shoot. Speaking for my 22Hornet and 303 Brit of course.

I saw that Ruger was putting out some in .222 Rem, which is a neat little classic varmint round.
What would be super nice is if they would bring out the Light Sporter in 25-35 & 32-40 Winchester
as well as 38-55, all with 24" barrels. Now THAT would be cool!
*LEAD* Still the best boolit material for huntin' & plinkin' for over 600 yrs.

I'd like to have one in 257 Roberts, that I think would make a nice, lightweight walking around rifle for an old geezer....

They made about 100 of those in a 1-A. We had them a couple years ago and just sold a NIB 'used' one a few days ago.
