Why? Because a lot of gunnutters read this section daily looking for deals. Not everyone looks at the other forums -- but you're welcome to.
I've seen deals in the Ammo section that get overlooked until they're dragged front and centre.
Mathematical recap: 1600rd crate @ $399 = 25 cents/rd. 1120rd crate @ $279 = 25 cents/rd. That all adds up to a short-lived deal. Get it while you can.

bigfooter, I have never tried Norinco before, but are they really non corrosive? How reliable and good they are compare to PMC or MFS?
I am tempted to try. Any feedback guys? Thanks
