Lightbulb Chiappa Little Badgers -- First Shipment Has Landed

Our first shipment of the new Little Badger survival rifle from Chiappa has finally arrived! These debuted at SHOT 2013 as Chiappa's lightweight, rugged packer's rifle for trap and pest work or as a small game sustenance hunting firearm. They weigh about three pounds, with a railed handguard for addition of aiming devices or other accessories, a wireframe stock with polymer cartridge rack for spare ammunition, adjustable iron sights, and come with a nylon carrying pouch -- they're just 16.5" inches or so, folded. As a break action these single shot rifles are designed to offer an absolutely rock solid, dependable design for consistent results in just about any conditions, with as little to go wrong as possible.

Though this first shipment is very limited, we're extremely excited to see these come in and have been really pleased with the quality of these rifles. They're not some skimpy plastic build; they're constructed very well and are clearly built of the good stuff -- they lock up very sharply and extract cleanly each time. Great gear for hunting and camping trips or for hikes, and equally at home for varmint control around the farm. We'd be comfortable taking these on really any sort of outdoors excursion as they are a really tough, simple design executed well by Chiappa. If you're planning a trip or an outing this summer season I cannot imagine a reason not to pack one of these along with you, legality permitting!

    Cheers,
    Daniel

Ditto on this question! Looks like the hinge pin might be able to be taken out? It would pack down a lot smaller (e.g. for bugout bags) if you could do that easily.

I'm pretty tempted to pick up one of these.... great price!
