    No dust cover and no forward assist! Oh damn, this is really going to hinder its performance at the range. Seriously guys? It's $849 with a free floating barrel. If the pistol grip doesn't suit, just swap it out like a lot of people do with the A2 grip anyway. Thanks Wolverine for all the cool products.

    This is great for people on a budget who want to get into an AR-15 type firearm without breaking the bank.

    No ar has a true free float barrel. The gas tube or piston (if you have a piston upper) will interfere with the "free float".

    Not that I am complaining, I am happy to see a cheaper ar for people who want a ar of budget.

    I was quoting their ad, but yes you are correct it's a floating hand guard rather than barrel. Either way it can't be a bad thing, as you have stated, to have an affordable AR.
