Hi. I have a question for you on the Barrett M99 Platform. I've read that the barrel on the M99 is hydraulically pressed and locked into the receiver. Can this rifle be re-barreled here in Canada or does it have to be shipped back to Barrett? Thanks.

I just spoke with Barrett in regards to your question. The barrels are pressed hydraulically into the receivers and then retained by a barrel nut. To re-barrel the 99 it would need to be sent to Barrett. Please be advised that we would send the rifle for you as there is a temporary import/export license requirement.
