I assume so. The way Eric explained it to me, if they couldn't overcome that - they were going to a different finish all together and I would have been informed of that significant change.

That makes sense. It would be a real shame to wait so long because of the special finish and then not get it. I've been wondering if it's possible to refinish those guns later on. Some finishes are really difficult to remove or the process hardens the steel and makes it difficult to re work.

They one that is due from December that at last update - is due in a week (We'll know more Monday) IS sold out.

The one that was promised Late May is not, we do have guns in it not allocated to customers.

FYI,,,if you look at the official Tanfoglio facebook page,..there are pcitures of Eric and assistants working on these guns. I especially noticed and liked the stainless or polished sear cages and plungers.

Hey, I'm in the central time zone so you will have a 2.5 hour jump on me. Besides, your gun will travel east once Sean gets it going. Even the post office is faster when they head down to "the Rock"! It's once you get there that everything slows down so nicely.

Update from Italy on Friday...

We have received the frames and slides for assembling them so we will be able to deliver your order by the end of the month. I will keep you advised.

So, this + the pictures of Eric and crew on facebook is making me feel pretty positive that these things will actually arrive in the next two weeks.

Fingers crossed, and I'll let you know when I get the next update.
