    The submachine gun variant of the QBZ-97 series (that uses a 5.8mm short cartridge) but in a common calibre would be amazing.

    Good ideas. I'd also like to see the DM version but it's a Dragunov variant, prone to grow legs, break out of the safe and do mass destructionizing around the neighborhood, so prohib.

    Are you talking of the QBU-88/Type-88/KBU-97A?
    If so, it ain't a prohib (non-res), and it ain't a variant of the QBZ-97 series.

    All 97 series are for export only in .556 cal.

    The smg version was here back when the first 97a came i believe its in the red rifles sticky showing one being dissasembled
