Out of respect and remembrance, we are closed all day on the 11th every year.

    Thank you
I am amazed at the number of stores that stay open or open at 11.

Thank you for being respectful of Rememberance Day... unlike some people.

Any reason to save a dollar huh? Disgusting.

As a vet, I find sales offered for veterans as a "thanks", very nice, and see no rhyme or reason why a business should keep their doors closed.

    Dear Shin_Gunto,

This is a perfectly good example of accepting differences in society due solely from the sacrifices of others:

Why do we close? Well it is simple: As a former soldier myself, I want all of my staff to be able to attend (as I do) a service / ceremony of Remembrance. To do so, we must close.

You can show your respect your way, we'll do it ours.

I also like swinging by the Legion to enjoy some "old boy camaraderie" after the service. If that's good enough for me, why not allow my staff to do the same.

The sale could be the day before and processed the day after, but to each his own. It's not a critical issue here.
Listen, and understand. That Liberal is out there. It can’t be bargained with. It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse- only fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until your guns are gone.
