yes, are the newcon IR lasers manufactured in canada? or just a canadian company? I also saw a review online where there was some concern of quality control? that was circa 2010 though, have any issues been resolved? I would only want to spend 1800 if I could have the utmost confidence in the unit.

Yes, no problems selling to civilains.
Manufactured in Canada, no problems with any of the units we've sold. Full manufacturer's warranty as well.
well in that case expect to hear from me in the next month or two, just need a little bit more money in my toy fund.
I'm just curious... What would you use this for in civilian life? I think it would be cool once, then have buyers remorse set in shortly thereafter.
