Now that I look again I think a longer hand guard would look better than the full length shroud. Maybe you could source a hand guard that would fit with the shroud.

These look great!!
I'd be in for solid, fake can style in the same length as the vented.
However, do you think there is any possibility of a threaded version? I have the newer, threaded barrel and figure threaded would be a cleaner option that would be less prone causing any wear/damage to the barrel finish.

they are harder to make due to the front sight, i dont really see a good option other than removing the sight.

I would be removing the front site and bayonet lug. cheaper option than the grizzly works barrel shrouds
