I would probally grab one but again flooding the markets isnt always a bad thing could create demand on 3006 ammo
I Saw some pictures of the Korea m1 Garands many years ago
Stacked like lumber on skids
Saw a news clip of them just throwing them in to piles like you would throw firewood
Were these fired with corrosive ammo??
Were these put away with Cosomiline?
Were these even cleaned before going into storage?
What was the storage like?
$150 to $200 tops---> sight unseen for these Garands
A surplus rifle that you buy
= Crate till you buy it
=cosomile
= Stored in a dry place
=$200-$300
If in good to very good condition, around $650. If they turn out to be mostly in poor to fair condition, I'd not be in it.
My guns, even the collectable ones, must be shooters (and not the dust it off every 2 years and fire 20 shots sort of shooter). If they're worn out they're of little to no interest at collector prices.
With this kind of volume I'd expect quite an interesting price.
for good condition stock/bore 800$ decent bore visible markings 450$
Considering it might chop my ww2 springfield value by a lot.. And that they are in apparent bad shape.. They would have to be pretty cheap.. Like 250-500$
