Yeah, my big worry with anything used that shoots 7.62x39 is it was fed corrosive ammo. I like new anyway :D But yeah, is 900 the new price of them then? (CSA VZ 58)
Freedom costs a buck 'o' five.

Bring a mini flashlight and look down the barrel. This will tell you if there is corrosive damage. Most do clean their rifles after use. I've heard there are problems with the new CSA's, so I'm not sold on them yet.

It is poor form to post in another dealers forum.

Is that a Century Arms VZ58? They are $537 on a popular US site, seen them as low as $499. Why the huge markup? Cdn legal barrel and import can't be that expensive

Hi all, I'm curious about some of you mentioning issues with the CSA VZ 58. I have heard of issues with the 5.56 version but was unaware of any with the 7.62 version. Could anyone please enlighten me on issues with the 7.62 version? Thanks!

Lots of speculation in this thread, which thankfully has subsided but there is tons of info on the VZ58 family of rifles in the Red Rifles section for anyone who is interested.
