How long exactly is the Norinco Shorty M14?
Some say its 43 inches, still some say its 44.5, so what is the exact measurement?
Luv the shorty (less barrel) cost more than the more material regular.
Reminds me of 2" framing nail is 50% more than 3".
Revolvers RULE; remember that next time you BEND over to pick up brass OR ejected brass pings off the precision gear.
Looking for a car pool buddy for weekly weekday trips from Burnaby to POCO. Better yet I'll drive weekly and you take me hunting.
Like Ricky said in an episode of Trailer Park Boys - "supply and command"...
Shorter barrel = more attractive to most Nutz = higher price.
Manufacturer makes less of them than other models = higher price.
Demand is most likely exceeding supply (even if there are some on the shelf at SFRC right now), so they can charge more.
No fault of SFRC. If you can get an extra buck, get the extra buck - it's a business, not a charity. They offer a great product (primarily their service, as ammo and firearms can be purchased from other places - but SFRC service can only come from SFRC). I would gladly pay (and have already paid) a few extra dollars to a guy who seems to enjoy his work, processes transactions quickly, ships fast, replies to questions and emails quickly, and still offers a better price than my local supplier.
I know you know this burnaby - not insulting your intelligence. Maybe I just needed to get a rant out.
I feel better now.

Liberal promise, a first rate oxymoron.
