The advantages of chrome lined barrels
The barrel is much easier to clean since carbon and copper fouling doesn't attach to the inside of the barrel as it does in a plain barrel.
The bore is resistant to corrosion and pitting, and you don't need to clean as often if using non corrosive ammo
Extraction and feeding is smoother
The barrel is less affected by erosion basically lasts longer.
Any update on these?
I have the money in hand... Just waiting on the chrome lined NR 7.62x39
$200. for a chromed barrel AND chamber AND gas system?
They're milking it for all it's worth IMO.
Can you get some VZ52/57 mags in 7.62x39? And what about the rifles themselves?

I would be interested.
I'd pay $1,000 for a chrome lined, non-restricted 7.62x39 VZ58. I'd happily put a deposit down on one if you had the order ready to go...
I'm in for sure on 1, but most likely 2 in 7.62x39. If the .22 conversion for the 858 happens I'll change the one I have now over for varmit hunting.
