Happiness is a warm gun ...bang, bang, shoot, shoot...
LOL yeah i just watched that video today. so funny. the best part is how he tried to play it off like he meant to do it or something. "you see, see how easily gun accidents can happen" hahaha.
Old thread I know, and there is no safty issue with this holster, I've used it for years in training and competition. It's a great holster.
When I called and asked about this holster during boxing day sale, whoever answered the phone said they had a few issues with this (Customer returns for whatever reason) and recommended I get the serpa instead.
Thumb drive is very nice. I have one for my M&P and really like it. It does a very good job of promoting a firm master grip on the draw while offering complete retention. I also have a serpa for my 1911. I prefer the Thumbdrive mechanism, not because I am worried about shooting myself because I am a careless retard, but because I find the thumbdrive faster. Plus the way it works you have to push the pistol down into the holster after pushing the thumb button in to get it to release sot he web of your hand is firmly seated. Great draw stroke. If they made one for the 1911's I would have two.
Ignore the stupid comments about shooting yourself with one. Just because one retard was drawing without a safety on and shot himself doesn't mean the holster has a problem. I think it is pretty obvious that the guy missed a fundamental safety rule by not engaging the safety. Regardless of what holster you are using, if you have a safety, use it.
