TNW Aero Survival Rifle

Well I have to say the TNW guys are quick to respond to emails and seem happy to answer any questions or concerns, Initially I was told that they started drilling and tapping the side rail option about the same time they went to an integrated top rail. This lead me to believe that some of the guns in Canada were the older generation but after inspecting one with out the drilled and tapped side rail option it's pretty clear that they have the newer (post 2013) receivers with the integral top rail but some did not get the side rail option. I guess they were in transition when they started shipping them North and from following previous threads it's possible that some of the units were in Canada awaiting final blessing from the CFC.

It doesn't have iron sights. Survival rifle? Hmm...

Is this a question or a statement?
They are built modular so that one can choose to add their choice of optic .
Be it a reflex sight a BUIS or your scope of choice.
Now, if you wished they chose those for you the price would increase and then some would complain it came with x-type of optic and not the y-type.
I'm still trying to decide what one to add to mine.. scope or 45 deg offset buis or reflex sight.
Tight Groups,
Rob

Do these things come with a 5 round magazine? Just curious about the glock mag and legalities.

Forgive me if it's been covered, and feel free to PM if it's best mentioned off the thread.

Can these barrels be taken to any local smith to have them threaded for a break/flash hider? I read that TNW offers threading service from the factory but haven't seen any dealers here offering that service or to bring any pre-threaded models in.
