    I'd wager nothing is getting approved at this point. The current firearms advisory panel is all but defunct. The librerals are replacing all of the firearms experts with anti-gun types. If it doesn't look like a hunting rifle, little chance of approval now.

    Nice gun. But I much prefer the Israeli version better with the shorter front end.

    With our 18.6" barrels it would look ridiculous. I think that front end is a godsend!

    X95l's have a 16.5 inch barrel. An extra 2 inches wouldn't look all that bad. Its a moot point anyways as I dont forsee this rifle getting here ever.

    From what I can see from the videos it looks like the handguard of this new X95 is in contact with the barrel just like on the older Tavor. If so that is unfortunate since that was one improvement I was hoping to see.

    Isn't there already an FRT for the X95? Is this that much of a different rifle?

    Different in more ways than the US SAR is to the Canadian TAR, and the US SAR still doesn't have an FRT after a year or so of lab time.
