This is definitely a cool looking rifle. I think i will go for the wood stocked one. The plastic ones looks like a tacti-tooled 10/22.

So are these here yet? :D

    Pps50 .22

used to have 2 of these (made in phillipines model) Never saw any 50rd drum mags in captavity (and I searched!) had the 30 rd stick mags. Both rifles performed flawlessly. Not anschutz style accuracy but must have accounted for at least a million gophers in the hands of my sons...boy could they burn up the ammo!!

Fun Guns! however, I fail to see how being manufactured in a different country can move the price from $130.00 item up to $600 +..???

    thats some inflation!!

great work at bringing in new and exciting toys for us john, but can someone tell me why we seem to be able to get only 22lr caliber firearms in now? and only if the boys in blue/black deem it acceptable for the general public to not be affended buy its style, shape or caliber and only if it is wood stocked?

by the way are the 50 rnd mags promags or special to this firearm?

These are not the same guns as made in the Phillipines. The ones made in the Phillipines were standard Squires Bingham rifles made to look like the Italian PPS-50 rifles.
    There is no comparison.

I agree, to compare this firearm to the squires 20p is apples to cherries for comparison. I have a 20p and am not interested in selling it but I like the looks of this one. Its like the people that tommy gun there 10/22 it just take a 250 dollar gun and makes it a 700+ dollar gun. It floats some peoples boats.

not only the biggest but the ugliest picture on internet....

OK, I am not contributing anything constructive here. Either way, I love John for bringing in tons of inexpensive firearms to Canada. This particular one won't be one of mine. Just a matter of personal taste. Gotta love those Norcs. If Norinco only built a copy of a M1 Garand...I'd buy 3...at least.

Any news on these, expected in February? Not asking price just approximate month to see how pennies I may have saved up. Confidential PM if posting publically is not an option. Or a waiting or contact list for them. I hate missing opportunities like the M14 one a short time back, made me sick knowing I missed that one.
