Blah Blah Blah BANG BANG BANG
Who knows... RRA has been talking about a .40S&W AR for about 4 or 5 years now. I first saw the prototype at SHOT in Florida a few years ago (they had it at the range for special viewing... didn't actually have it on display at the show that year).
Since then they keep showing it as "coming soon". This past SHOT Show they officially announced it would be released in 2011 sometime, but who knows when.
From what I last heard they were having trouble getting a reliable "production" version of the magazine... the "one off" designs were working fine but whenever the magazine companies put them into full production the volume runs didn't work properly. Until they sort that out there's no way they are going to release the gun.

Hey Mark.. not trying to be a smart @ss but they have had it advertised as available with options and complete pricing on their website for almost a year now. Maybe it's been resolved?

Yup... and we've had units on order with them since before they "officially" announced them as "coming soon"... still we haven't seen a single unit shipped.
Just because they list it on their website doesn't mean they are shipping them... they listed .308's for almost 2 years before they actually started shipping them... same with their .458SOCOM uppers.
True enough! Thanks, Mark!

You can use a rifle as a doorjamb or paperweight, but that's not what it's designed for. It's not what the rifle, in its soul, longs to do.
